Editorial design project: a four-book cover series created with a noir aesthetic, exploring typography and visual storytelling.
Roman Noir is a conceptual book cover series exploring the aesthetics of noir literature. Each cover was designed to convey mood, atmosphere, and the essence of the story while maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all four books.
Using contrast, bold typography, and minimalist layout principles, the covers were designed to capture attention while communicating the series' mysterious and dark themes. Color choices and imagery were carefully considered to reinforce the noir feel.
